Pistol Training - Foundational Skills, Movements and Low Light

You will learn about and put into practice several carry options for a light source. Our movements training will familiarize you with the best practices to utilize during varying light levels and how to overcome and take advantage of the environment of your home and/or business.

This training is for beginners, new shooters and those who want to build their knowledge in using a firearm for self defense. We will cover functionality, ammo choices, holster/carry options, grip, drawing from a holster, moving, mag exchanges, threat ID, de-escalation, shoot/no shoot scenarios - questions welcome during training. You will be handling the training weapons (which will be provided) to practice holding, drawing and threat identification.

This class is held indoors at our training center in Greenville Junction, ME and uses the T4E line of weapons from Umarex. This training weapon allows us to work on tactical drawing, moving and shooting that you couldn’t safely accomplish with a real firearm and live fire environment.

These training weapons also have a BIG cost advantage over simunitions, which is why we have many law enforcement agencies that we are currently training to use this line of weapons. We also have Glock, M&P, Sig and many other training pistols that are officially licensed by the manufacturer and have the same weight, feel, blowback, and fit inside your holster. In these courses we will work, "Drawing While Moving", 'Re-holstering While Moving', "Drawing While Seated", "Mag Exchanges", "Shoot/No Shoot" drills (with and without de-escalation). This is just to name a few and just a taste of what we cover in the trainings

Training pistols and ammo will be provided for this training, however the training weapons can also be purchased before and after the training, ask for details.
