Mr. Jamie Arute, Owner and Chief Instructor of T4 Survival and Alpha Krav Maga is one of three people in the World responsible for training, testing and certifying instructors and affiliate schools around the globe. Mr. Arute has trained and taught in the Martial Arts for over 35 years, achieving proficiency in Krav Maga, Muay Thai Kickboxing, Jiu Jitsu, Kenpo and weaponry. With the passionate belief that all individuals need the ability to defend their safety and freedom, Mr. Arute’s vision was to provide a training environment where people of all ages, sizes, and abilities could gain the necessary physical and mental skills to overcome dangerous situations. With this mission in mind, Mr. Arute opened the doors to his Cheshire, Connecticut training center in 2008.

In 2012, Mr. Arute’s unique school was invited to act as the Regional Training Center of Alpha Krav Maga International. Alpha Krav Maga was founded by internationally recognized Krav Maga Instructor Sam Sade; His team of coaches and training centers include some of the most talented and influential instructors and studio owners in the world. Mr. Arute has the honor of being on the Board of Directors for Alpha Krav Maga International.

Mr. Arute provides training for children and adults, as well as civilians and law enforcement personnel in Krav Maga. Children’s classes are limited in size, so individual attention can be provided and instructors can work with each child on their personal goals. Children learn how to avoid and defuse dangerous situations, while gaining confidence and mental agility. Adult classes focus on preparation for potential danger, and offer real-life skills that can save lives and empower individuals to protect themselves and their families.

Mr. Arute also designs and teaches personal self protection seminars for companies, universities, and law enforcement organizations. Among his clients are the U.S. Department of Homeland Security,  DEA, United States Coast Guard, State of Connecticut, Quinnipiac University; Officers from FBI, NYPD, Boston Police, and New Haven Police Departments; and the University of Connecticut. His seminars include Weapon Retention, Crowd Control and Management, Active Shooter, Force on Force, Sexual Assault Defense, Home Invasion, Carjacking, Kid Safe Anti-Abduction Program, and Child Protection and Safety.

Mr. Arute has received recognition and awards for the outstanding accomplishments of his training center. As a full-time Self Defense Expert and a leading voice in the region for self protection, he has been featured in the New York Times, Cheshire Herald, Clear Channel Radio Stations, and other media publications.

In 2018 Mr. Arute started hosting Krav Maga and Firearm training events at Moosehead Lake, ME. These events would bring Mr. Arute’s clients to Moosehead from around the globe and give them the opportunity to train in the beautiful Northwoods of Maine with Mr Arute and his renowned team of instructors.

He continues to host these events a few times a year. After his training center in CT was unfortunately shut down by the state during the pandemic, he decided it was time to move his operations and training center to Greenville, Maine - full time!

He is a full time resident on Moosehead Lake, also runs weekly Krav Maga & BJJ classes and private training at his facility in Greenville. Mr Arute continues to passionately bring his knowledge and expertise to clients, instructors and training centers around the world.

Mr. Michael Kahn is a United States Navy Submarine Veteran who proudly served from 1995 to 1999, ending his service as a Second Class Sonar Technician. Following his military service, he began a career in Law Enforcement and is currently a Master Sergeant at a municipal agency. Mr. Kahn is a certified Arrest and Control Instructor. During his 21 years of service, he has been fortunate to receive a wide variety of training, including training at the SigArms Academy. Mr. Kahn has been a competitive precision marksman, has competed and placed as one the world’s best police snipers, while competing overseas and representing the United States. Mr.Kahn has been responsible for coordinating civilian training for T4 Survival since 2014

Mr. Scott Allard is a United States Army Veteran who proudly served as a military policeman for 8 years. Following the Army, during his time in the military, Mr. Allard was deployed to Guantanamo Bay Cuba under Operation Enduring Freedom. His military experience includes, earning his certification as a Combat Lifesaver.  After his military service, Mr. Allard began his career in Law Enforcement. He has served as a State Trooper and a Municipal Police Officer since 2002.  He is currently the lead on the Special Response Team (SWAT)  He has also earned various instructor certifications - including firearms, patrol rifle, less lethal baton/OC spray, handcuffing, taser, and building clearing/room entry and active shooter.  Mr. Allard has been responsible for coordinating Law Enforcement Training and certifications for T4 Survival since 2012.

Mr. David Kahn is an NRA Certified Instructor where he has spent the last 6 years training civilians on the fundamentals of shooting and safe firearm handling.
Mr. Kahn is the Founder of Kydex Holster Solutions, est. in 2017 which offers a variety of high quality holster products that can be found at www.kydexholstersolutions.com. Mr. Kahn hold his Federal Firearms License under his business Kydex Holster Solutions and he is also a Certified Glock Armorer. Mr. Kahn teaches and assists T4 Survival’s firearm tactics workshops/classes and training camps.
